Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game is a puzzle game that challenges your observation and logic skills. In Little Problems you make your way through scenes of charming colorful art with important details hidden throughout. It falls on players to seek out clues, match them up with other observations, and use logic to pair details together in order to fill out the missing information at the end of each section.
Little Problems Offers A Cozy Challenge
The initial tutorial scene is straightforward and simple, and I will admit I mistakenly thought that the overall game might be easy and quickly mastered. I was enjoying the artwork and and soundtrack, making my way through the early levels. The cozy and relaxing vibe of the game never changed, but suddenly I found myself grabbing a notepad to diagram some of the clues.
The game does have an in game note taking feature which I very much appreciate. However, when faced with a challenging level in terms of making connections with information split into multiple parts of the scene, I found myself wanting to create a diagram to track how various clues were related. That’s when I realized that Little Problems might be cozy, but that does not mean that the game isn’t challenging.
The UI is very straightforward and easy to use. While the in game note taking feature is handy, I wish that you could see and edit the notes while viewing the scene. Even if you could only have one note open in the scene, almost like a post it that you could add to and send back to the main notes page, that would have been helpful for me. Overall, though, the gameplay and UI is intuitive and easy to master. Solving all of the puzzles? Well, that’s the real challenge.

Great Choice for Cozy Puzzle Fans
Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game is a great choice for fans of puzzle games, cozy vibes, and relaxing gameplay. A detective style mystery game that isn’t centered around a grisly crime to be solved is a refreshing addition to my game library. Maybe it’s the right game to add to your library, as well!
